Timeout

You might have noticed that I write rather sporadically here on the blog.
Which is based a lot upon what mood I happen to be in.
At the moment though, I am also back at the hospital getting treated for depression, again.
So I am having a bit of a time out here at the blog, at least until I get discharged from the hospital.

patience and medicine

Patience

--------------
And more medicin.
Before I can work with my depression, I have to be sympthom free.
 - Which you get by getting the right medicine, and the right amount of it
Because you can not work with the underlying issues if you still feel the symptoms of depresssion
Which is: low selfasteem
                 isolation
                 anxiety
                 unhappyness
                 crying
                 hard time concentrating
                 eating disorder
                 sleeping disorder
                 unexplained pains in body
                 feeling guilty
                 tiredness

Green shawl

Light green shawl

In hindsight, I wish I had knitted it on larger needles, but too late now.
I am so not unraveling it! ( I do that too often! Which sure is cheaper ;) )
I found the pattern on  Ravelry.
The yarn is 5 years old and I have tried to knit several things of it, which failed.
Though earlier in the year it made some gloves with the yarn, that turned out well.
-------------
Frustration
Too many hours in the day
Not wanting to do anything
Very little energy
Body tense
Waiting time

Bathroom

The Kitty modeling ( she jumps into the sink every time I turn on the tap)

When we bought my apartment, we had to fix the bathroom, because it wasn't uptudate with regulations. - This offered an opportunity to  make the bathroom just as I wanted to.
We did have a looot of trouble with the guys we employed to fix the bathroom, and it took them a lot longer time to fix it, than they originally said it would.
Not a great experience. And my faith in handymen has been terminally shaken, sadly.

Anyhow, the pictures below show the transformation.

Top picture: original bathroom. lots of pipes exposed, dirty, disgusting
Bottom picture: tiles down

 Finished bathroom:
heating in the floor
heating in the wall with the hooks
custom curtain rail and curtain
